Corporate Team Headshots: What to Expect When We Come to Your Office

If your company's team page looks like a patchwork of mismatched selfies, phone photos, and photos from three different photographers taken over ten years — you're not alone. We Come to Your Office

The Gabmaster team travels throughout Chicago, Naperville, Lisle, Aurora, Schaumburg, Evanston, Oak Brook, and all of the northern and western suburbs. We set up a professional studio right in your office — in a conference room, lobby, or open area — and photograph your entire team in one continuous session. No one has to take time out of their day to travel anywhere.

Setup typically takes about 30–45 minutes. We bring professional strobe lighting, backdrop options, and all necessary equipment. Your facilities team doesn't need to do anything special to prepare.

How Many People Can We Photograph in One Day?

With our efficient system, we typically photograph 8–12 people per hour for individual headshots. A team of 20 can be completed in about 2–3 hours including setup and breakdown. We've photographed teams as large as 62 people in a single day — and we've also added a large group shot at the end, all with the same professional setup.

For very large teams, we can schedule across multiple days if your schedule requires it.

Consistency Across Your Team

The biggest benefit of doing your whole team in one session with one photographer isn't just convenience — it's visual consistency. When every person on your website or LinkedIn team page has a photo taken with the same lighting, same background style, and same level of professionalism, your company looks cohesive and established. This matters enormously for client and candidate first impressions.

We maintain detailed lighting notes and settings so that if you onboard new team members and need to add to the series weeks or months later, we can match the look exactly.

What to Tell Your Team

Send a quick internal note a week before the session. Remind them to: wear solid colors (avoid white and patterns), get a haircut if needed, bring a backup outfit, and show up with five minutes to spare. Point them to our guide on what to wear — most "I don't know what to wear" anxiety goes away with a little advance guidance.

Also let them know each individual session takes about 10–15 minutes. It's painless, and most people end up enjoying it more than they expected.

Deliverables and Turnaround

After the session, each team member receives a gallery of their edited images. Companies also typically receive a set of final approved images in standard web and print formats. Turnaround time is discussed and agreed upon at booking — we work with your deadlines.

Adding a Group Photo

Many clients choose to add a team group photo at the end of the session. This can range from a traditional formal lineup to a more relaxed, candid-style group shot depending on your company culture. It adds minimal time and creates a great asset for your "About Us" page, press kit, or social media.
